LAGOS REWARDS PUBLIC SERVANTS FOR MERITORIOUS SERVICE.

The Lagos State Government has honoured eight hundred public servants with a long service award for their dedication and meritorious service in the past thirty years and more.

The Annual Long Service Merit Award presents an opportunity for the government to celebrate Public Servants who have served the people and made significant contributions to the development of the State.

In his address, the Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola advised the awardees not to rest on their oars, but continue to exhibit a high sense of responsibility and commitment to duty with unalloyed loyalty.

The Head of Service assured that the government would continue to provide the necessary conducive environment for the attainment of lofty goals while Staff welfare will continue to be top priority in the scheme of things.
