Public Servants in Lagos State today have begun registration and collection of Permanent Voter Cards following the directive of Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu.
Ahead of the deadline of thirtieth July, the Governor had declared four work-free days for public workers to register and collect their Permanent Voter Cards.
In a statement, Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, encouraged workers to be involved in the electoral process.
According to him, it is the civic responsibility of every citizen to participate in the electoral process, hence, all public servants are encouraged to partake in the upcoming general elections.
