LAGOS TO STRENGTHEN BILATERAL TIES WITH FRENCH GOVERNMENT

The Lagos State Government says it is committed to strengthen ties with the French government on agro-allied and other bilateral relations.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu stated this when he received the Senate Committee Members on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Armed Forces of the Senate of the French Republic led by its Ambassador to Nigeria, Emmanuelle Blatman, on a courtesy call.

The Governor commended the parliamentarians, saying this would further strengthen synergy between France and Nigeria on Security, trade, Commerce, transportation, technology, create employment opportunities for youths among other interventions.

Earlier, the French Ambassador to Nigeria, Emmanuelle Blatman and Chairman of the Committee, Bernard Fournier said the delegation was on a three day visit for various engagements of strategic importance as well as programmes which included meeting with French business community, tours, among other had been lined up as part of the visit.
