LAGOS GOVERNMENT RESTATES COMMITMENT TO WELFARE OF NIGERIAN

The Lagos State Government has restated its commitment to continue to give necessary support to the Nigerian Armed forces and families of fallen heroes in terms of training and empowerments.

Governor Babajide Sanwoolu, who was represented by his Deputy, Doctor Obafemi Hamzat, stated this at the Year 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Parade and Wreath Laying Ceremony at The Remembrance Arcade, Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.

Commissioner for Home Affairs, Anofiu Elegushi, said the event was to honour gallant soldiers that had sacrificed their lives for the unity of Nigeria and that the state government had been committed in rendering various assistants and supports to the families of the fallen heroes.
