The State Government has launched the distribution of food palliative to the vulnerable in the state.
According to the government, the move is aimed at cushioning the effect of the untoward hardship being faced by Nigerians as a result of the new cash swap policy.
During the distribution, Deputy Governor, Doctor Obafemi Hamzat said the government felt the pain of the citizens assuring that the programme would be moved round the state.
He said the programme would be taken to Local governments, churches, mosques , Community Development Committees, CDCs, and Community Development Associations, CDAs.
Civil servants on grade levels one to three, widows, pensioners and other vulnerable people benefited from the programme which kicked off at Adeyemi Bero auditorium, Alausa.
