The General Manager of Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, Doctor Babatunde Ajayi, has warned residents against noise pollution.
In a Christmas message, Ajayi said the state’s environmental laws prohibit noise pollution and other environmental violations which can have negative impacts on human health.
He urged religious organisations, club owners, industries, and others to remember the Memorandum of Understanding jointly agreed on with the government.
Ajayi charged Lagosians to celebrate the Yuletide moderately with strict adherence to the state environmental laws.
