The Lagos State Government has pledged prompt and timely delivery of quality water jetties through several ongoing projects in some parts of the State.
The State Commissioner for Waterfront Infrastructure Development, Ahmed Abdullahi, stated this during the continuation of his assessment tour of ongoing jetties across Lagos.
He assured all residents that the present administration is committed to ensuring timely completion of the projects.
Speaking at the location of the ongoing Mile 2 Jetty project, Abdullahi said when completed, the jetty would boost the multi-modal transportation system of the State, as an interchange platform for commuters to board either the Blue Line Rail or BRT Bus to their destinations when they alight from the ferry.
The Commissioner also visited other ongoing jetty projects at Ebute Ero, Ijede and Okera-Nla, among others.
