The Lagos State Citizens Mediation Centre has resolved one thousand eight hundred and fourteen disputed cases, as part of its mandates to ensure amicable conflict and dispute resolutions among residents.
According to the Centre, three thousand six hundred and eleven cases were received in the month of January, out which one thousand eight hundred and fourteen were resolved.
Its Director, Biola Oseni, disclosed this at the agency’s headquarters, Alausa, Ikeja while reviewing the activities of the agency for the month of January.
The cases ranged from Landlord/Tenants matters, family disputes and Employers/Employees related issues among other matters.
She said the Centre has leveraged on Alternative Disputes Resolution, ADR, mechanism as means of decongesting courtrooms across the State.
