United Nations officials have repeatedly warned that Kim Jong-Un’s regime poses a significant cyber threat.
A UN report said North Korean cyber-attacks had stolen millions of dollars worth of cryptocurrency to fund the country’s missile programmes.
Investigators found that between Twenty-twenty and mid-Twenty-twenty-one, cyber-attackers stole more than fifty million dollars of digital assets, for Pyongyang’s nuclear and ballistic missile programme.
The findings were reportedly handed to the UN’s sanctions committee on Friday.
North Korea has been banned by the UN Security Council from carrying out nuclear tests and launching ballistic missiles.
