Henry Patterson, the best-selling author of The Eagle Has Landed, has died , aged ninety two
Patterson, who began writing when he was a teacher, penned eighty five novels between 1959 and 2017.
Patterson sold more than two hundred and fifty million books over his career.
Reports say Patterson died at his Jersey home surrounded by his family.
