Pensioners in the state are very important stakeholders in development.
Permanent Secretary, Local Government, Establishments, Training and Pensions, Kikelomo Bolarinwa, made this known at a special welfare programme, aimed at encouraging retirees to interact and acquire relevant information on issues relating to pension matters.
According to Bolarinwa, pensioners work and contributions during their active years of service laid a formidable foundation for the current development.
She reteirated the Board’s commitment to the welfare of pensioners across the State, stressing that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration has remained committed to the welfare of pensioners by ensuring regular payment of their retirement entitlements.
