The Lagos State Government has been in the forefront of investment in technology especially, in the transport sector.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, stated this at the maiden edition of National Transport Technology Conference and Exhibition themed, “Multimodal And Inter-Connectivity: Achieving An Efficient And Greener Transport System in Nigeria”.
He spoke through Secretary to the State Government, Folasade Jaji.
Also, Commissioner for Transportation, Frederick Oladeinde, said the conference was meant to create an avenue that would avail all States of the Federation, an opportunity to discuss.
He noted that it was also to dissect topical issues, affecting the transport industry while proffering solutions for enhanced effectiveness and efficiencies.
Oladeinde, said it would further provide insight into Integrated National Security and Waterways Protection Infrastructure, Deep Blue Project and Developing Strategic Transportation Master Plan for the State.
