LAGOS STATE TAKES PROACTIVE ACTION TOWARDS HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT

Lagos Commissioner for Agriculture, Abisola Olusanya, says the State is taking proactive action towards enthroning a safe veterinary environment, and promotion of healthy environment.

Olusanya, who stated this at the Stakeholders’ Engagement Forum with Operators of Private Veterinary Premises”, said the Government was poised to meet international standards for effective delivery of veterinary medicine and achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by twenty-thirty.

He said the focus of the forum was to maintain an acceptable standard of veterinary service delivery amongst private practitioners in Lagos.

Also, Director of Veterinary Service, Doctor Rasheed Macaulay, called on all unregistered and illegal Veterinary outfits in the State to register in order to maintain the stance on anti-quackery and sharp practices in veterinary service delivery in the State.
