The present administration in Lagos State has restated its commitment to collaborate with relevant associations to promote traditional religion in the state.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, disclosed this in his address at the 2022 annual conference of the Association of African Traditional Religions of Nigeria.
Sanwo-Olu noted the contribution of indigenous religion to a peaceful society.
He said government would continue to support all efforts aimed at promoting and preserving the culture of Lagos.
The governor spoke through his Special Adviser on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Olufemi Martins.
