Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu says his administration will continue to prioritize the development of the education sector through an increase in the education budget.
The governor made this known at the opening day of a two-day Lagos State Education Summit, themed: ‘ Creating a Sustainable Fit-for-Purpose Education Model.
Represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Folasade Jaji, Governor Sanwo-Olu said his administration had completed over one thousand education projects in the last three years, adding that improved education was one of the legacies he wished to leave behind.
The governor also said his administration was looking at improving the welfare and needs of the teachers.
