The Federal Government is to spend a total of four point three billion naira, of its twenty point five one trillion naira budget, on the purchase of trains, in order to expand railway services across the country.
This was contained in the twenty- twenty- three budget submitted to the National Assembly last week, by President Muhammadu Buhari.
In the budget, the Ministry of Transportation headquarters got ninety three point six-six-one billion naira, while National Inland Waterways Authority was allocated five point three-nine-seven billion naira.
