The State Deputy Governor, Doctor Obafemi Hamzat, has called on Nigerians to serve God wholeheartedly and uphold the family unit.
This, according to the Deputy Governor, will further build the country.
Hamzat made the call at the fourteenth edition of the Arise Women’s Conference, where he stressed the significant position of the family in nation building being the first place of socialisation and training.
Speaking on the conference theme: “By Appointment”, the Deputy Governor who said the biggest challenge in the society was the failure of the family system, stressed the need to rebuild the structure for a better society.
He stated that everyone has a major role to play in the development of the country.
