Report Questionable Transactions, CUPP Advises Banks, Security Agencies

The Coalition of United Political Parties(CUPP) has called on the banks and the security agencies to report any questionable transactions in the bank for immediate prosecution

The spokesperson for the coalition Ikenga Ugochinyere while speaking at a press conference on Monday in Abuja said Nigerians are to take security agencies serious.

Ugochinyere has accused the ruling party of launching a new means of vote buying with the code named Operation Wire Wire following their inability to continue the usual cash vote as a result of the new naira notes.

He went further to release evidence of this plot in several leaked document that shows the harvested names and bank account for the digital vote buying in those States.

The spokesperson noted that the initiators of the Omuma magic, claim that Independent National Electoral Commission Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu is working hard to see that the ruling party is voted out of office next year.

He said it is for this purpose that the Nigeria opposition and all Nigerians citizens of Goodwill have resolved that they will reject any form of the arrest of the INEC chairman.

He also said the Inspector General of Police Usman Alkali and the Director General of the State Security Service Yusuf Bichi must not allow factual allegations of crime against the electoral process to go without action.

Ugochinyere called on all religious leaders, the media and every citizens of Nigeria to help secure the elections in other to have a free and fair election.
