President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the opening of the second Niger bridge to traffic from fifteenth December to fifteenth January, 2023.
According to the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, this will ease human, goods, services and vehicular movements during this yuletide from the Western part of the country to the Eastern part.
The Minister also assured that there would not not be any barrier on the roads in the Yuletide.
He said contractors had been told not to open any more sections of federal roads for construction this season in order to ease vehicular movements.
