STATE GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCES DIVERSION OF ROAD AT OJOTA.

The State Government has announced a traffic diversion on the Ikorodu bound Service Lane from twenty-third January, for a duration of two weeks.

According to the government, the diversion is in furtherance of the rehabilitation works on the Ojota Interchange to Ojota second Pedestrian Bridge portion of Ikorodu Road.

The Commissioner for Transportation, Doctor Frederic Oladeinde, said the diversion would give room for correction of some asphalt failings observed at edge of the ramps inwards IyanaOworo/Gbagada axis and Seven up on Lagos/ Ibadan Expressway.

Oladeinde added that alternative routes have been provided for Motorists to utilise during the stipulated time set for the repairs.

He explained that vehicles coming from Maryland on the Service Lane would be diverted at the second Pedestrian Bridge into the Main Carriage Way to make a turn at Mile twelve Underpass.
