ANGOLA, FRANCE SIGNS PARTNERSHIP DEAL.

Angolan President, Joa Lourenco has hosted his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron who visited him with an aim to develop and strengthen links with the Portuguese-speaking country, notably in the food industry and energy.

The two countries have signed an agricultural and agri-food production partnership.

The partnership was signed at a meeting held in Luanda, the capital of Angola, on Friday.

The French President who was accompanied by business leaders also attended the closing of the Luanda Business Forum.

According to the French presidency, Angola wanted to strengthen its sovereignty and find new sources of income in the food sector.
