The West African Examinations Council, WAEC, Nigeria has launched its Digital Certificate Platform for seamless and timely access, for candidates of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE, from 1999 till date.
Its Head, Public Affairs Department, National Office, Yaba, Moyosola Adesina, in a statement also informed institutions, agencies, and the general public that the council was working to accommodate Certificates from 1980.
She also informed that Institutions and organizations can also promptly and securely confirm the certificates of candidates as it will no longer provide manual confirmation or stamping of certificates of candidates.
Adesina said certificates accessed and shared through the platform were authentic and sourced directly from the WAEC database.
