Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, says the country will not be intimidated by China following tit-for-tat diplomatic expulsions by Ottawa and Beijing.
Trudeau’s comments come after Ottawa expelled Chinese diplomat, Zhao Wei, on Monday over allegations related to foreign interference.
China responding to the move asked a Canadian diplomat in Shanghai to leave by 13th May calling Ottawa’s unreasonable actions.
Trudeau says the country will continue to do everything necessary to keep Canadians protected, as he expects more reactions from Beijing
