POLICE COMMISSION APPOINTS FRANK MBA, BALA CIROMA AS DEPUTY INSPECTORS GENERAL.

The Police Service Commission, has approved the appointment of Assistant Inspectors General, Frank Mba and Bala Ciroma as Deputy Inspectors General of Police.

Ciroma will replace Deputy Inspectors General Ali Janga, who retired from Service and represented the North East geo-political zone in the Police Management team.

According to the Commission says Ciroma, who is the most senior Officer from the zone, will henceforth represent the zone.

The commission said Deputy Inspector General, Mba, will represent the South East zone and replace retired Deputy Inspector General John Amadi, who before his retirement, represented the zone.

Its Head, Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani says the Commission also approved the promotion of fourteen Commissioners of Police to the next rank of Assistant Inspectors General of Police.
