RESIDENT DOCTORS EMBARK ON INDEFINITE STRIKE

The National Association of Resident Doctors, NARD, has declared a total and indefinite strike action.

Its President, Doctor Emeka Orji, who made this known in Lagos said the decision was made during its July National Executive Council meeting in Lagos.

Orji, stated that the demands include the immediate payment of the 2023 Medical Residency Training Fund, the immediate release of the circular on one-for-one replacement, and the payment of skipping arrears, among others.
