
France’s Transport Minister, Clement Beaune says the country is already on its highest security alert, and will boost security at airports around the capital and on trains after a wave of fake bomb threats.
According to Beaune, Security patrols at Paris airports will be increased by forty per cent and staff at the national railway company SNCF will be reinforced by twenty per cent.
France has been on its highest alert since thirteenth October after a twenty-year-old man fatally stabbed a teacher in the city of Arras in the northern part of the country.
