FEDERAL GOVERNMENT REITERATES PROVISION OF ACCESSIBLE POTABLE WATER

The Federal government says it is unrelenting in bridging the gap of accessibility to potable water by Nigerians.

Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Joseph Utsev, said government would ensure that the country’s 156b cubic metres of water, is well harnessed for the overall benefits of the people.

The minister spoke at the 13th Annual Conference of the Nigeria Association of Hydrological Sciences (NAHS) at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Lagos, Akoka.

Represented by the Managing Director of Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority, Femi Odumosu, the Minister challenged the association to continue research on water resources to bridge the gap between science and the people.
