The Senate has confirmed the nomination of the eleven Justices of the Supreme Court.
The confirmation came after a debate by the lawmakers who advocated the augmentation of the judiciary budget.
They also declared that it was improper to appoint justices to the Supreme Court without first creating a long-term vacancy.
The action followed the National Judicial Council’s recommendation and President Bola Tinubu’s letter to the Lawmakers, requesting their approval.
