Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved the procurement of one hundred and twenty new vehicles to be allocated to substantive Grade Level 17 Directors, in the State public service.
The Head of Service, Bode Agoro, who disclosed this at the 2024 first work day inter-denominational prayers and thanksgiving session for public servants highlighted other projects to be carried out to include health, housing and welfare of civil servants in general.
Chairman, Civil Service Commission, Olubunmi Fabamwo, in her goodwill remarks, admonished all public servants to have an improved mindset to be better version of themselves, and join hands to achieve the THEMES plus agenda of the Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration.
Permanent Secretary, Public Service Office, ‘Sukanmi Oyegbola, advised public servants to continue to be more thankful to God stressing that without any doubt, 2024 would be a progressive year for all workers.
Prayers were offered by Muslim clerics, including Imam Hakeem Kosoko, Dr Saeid Ahmad from the Lagos State Central Mosque, Alausa-Ikeja, and Christian cleric, The Presiding Chaplain, Chapel of Christ the Light, Alausa-Ikeja, Reverend Dr Oladele Ajayi.
