NIGERIA, QATAR SIGN MULTI-SECTORAL AGREEMENTS.

President Bola Tinubu and the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, have signed historic agreements that will facilitate mutual cooperation between both countries across various sectors.

The agreements were formalized in Doha at the Qatar Presidential Palace, where President Tinubu reassured his host of Nigeria’s readiness to welcome investors into the country.

The President highlighted the ongoing reforms that prioritize innovation, return on investments and multiculturalism.

The seven agreements encompass cooperation in the field of education, regulation of workers’ employment with the Government of Qatar, establishment of a joint business council between the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture, among others.
