LAGOS STATE DEPUTY GOVERNOR CALLS FOR REGENERATION OF YORUBA CULTURE.

The Lagos State Deputy Governor, Doctor Obafemi Hamzat has called for a regeneration of the Yoruba culture which promotes peace, unity and proper values.

Doctor Hamzat made the call during the formal opening of the Egbe Chieftaincy Palace, Lagos Island.

He emphasized that the Yoruba language must not be allowed go into extinction and the values must be imbibed

The Egbe of Lagos, Abayomi Olusi, who was full of delight said the Palace was renovated to bring families together.

He stressed the need to bringing the Yoruba culture closer to the people.
