The town of Mananjary,east coast of Madagascar, has been affected by tropical cyclone Batsirai, which hit the island with gusts of up to two hundred and thirty-five kilometres per hour.
It reached the island with packing winds of one hundred and sixty-five kilometres per hour.
On Sunday, more than twenty thousand people had been displaced and six had died.
The national disaster management agency, said it had put in place rescue plans and possessed accommodation sites, food and medical care for the victims.
