Bucks’ superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo put up 50 points, 14 rebounds and four assists in Milwaukee’s 128-119 win over the Pacers Tuesday night at home. Antetokounmpo sat out in Monday’s loss to the Trail Blazers due to left ankle soreness.

The former MVP went 17-for-21 from the field and hit 14 of 18 free-throw attempts in the win. His 21 shots are the fourth-fewest ever by a player with a 50-point game, per Statmuse. Antetokounmpo is averaging 29.4 points, 11.2 rebounds and six assists per game this season.

“The efficiency, it’s … it’s … it’s Giannis. He’s special,” Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said after the game. “It’s hard to fathom scoring 50 on 21 (shots).”

Khris Middleton added 19 points and eight assists for the Milwaukee, while Jrue Holiday chipped in 14 points and eight assists. The Bucks shot 55.8 percent from the field with 10 3s and went 22-for-30 from the free-throw line.

New Pacers Buddy Hield and Tyrese Haliburton led Indiana with 36 and 17 points, respectively, in the effort. Indiana shot 50.5 percent from the field, knocking down 17 3s and hitting 8 of 19 free-throw attempts.

Milwaukee is now third in the Eastern Conference at 36-23, while Indiana is 13th at 13-47.
