The Lagos State Government says it will ensure food security, promote nutritional sensitive technology and sustainable business alliance through its Agro-processing, Productivity Enhancement and livelihood Improvement support, APPEALS, Project.
State’s Project Coordinator of APPEALS, Oluranti Sagoe-Oviebo, stated this at a media parley themed, “Zero Hunger: Forging Ahead Together for Sustainable Actions.
According to her, the project supported by the Federal Government and World bank in six states has been partnering with stakeholders to enhance the three value chains, including Aquaculture, Poultry and Rice.
Sagoe-Oviebo also said the project through the State Government had trained over one thousand seven hundred women and youths, to develop a business plan.
