The General Manager, Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, (LASTMA) Bolaji Oreagba, has debunked the fake News that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, had banned officials of the agency from arresting motorists who violate traffic laws in the State.
In a statement by the agency’s Spokesperson, Olumide Filade, Oreagba noted that the primary duties of the agency were traffic control and management which included the arrest of traffic law violators in the State.
Oreagba, explained that the fake News was being circulated for the fourth time, adding that the company that generated the first fake News had apologized and pulled down the News from its site.
The General Manager assured the public who may have been going through harrowing traffic experiences in the hands of lawless motorists in Lagos, to take succor in the fact that LASTMA had fully returned to manage road traffic.
