The United Nations refugee agency says plans to send some asylum seekers from the United Kingdom to Rwanda are a breach of international law.

The agency said attempting to shift responsibility for claims of refugee status was unacceptable.

Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson had said he believed the scheme complied with international law.
