The Lagos State center for rural development has commenced voter registration sensitization tour of local councils in ikorodu division of the state
According to its Director, Oladimeji Stephen said the sensitization started last week at Epe division and they were able to cover the entire five Local government’s where they were received warmly.
According to him, the major request of the people was the provision of more registration equipment which he said he has made known to the Lagos Electoral commission and they’ve promised to look into it and provide as much as three to four machines.
Adeniyi advised residents of Lagos to go out and get their PVC’s and also wield it as it is their power.
At Igbogbo Bayeku LCDA the vice chair commended the time noting that the sensitization efforts will complement that of the local council.
