Encomiums have continued to pour in for Lagos Traffic Radio, as the foremost media house commemorates its tenth anniversary with a thanksgiving service held at the Chapel of Christ the Light, Alausa, as part of activities lined up for the celebration.
Speaking at the Thanksgiving Service, Former Director of Public Affairs, Ministry of Information and Strategy, Adetoro Oladapo, said the feat was a monumental achievement as the Radio Station had distinguished itself as a foremost media house.
Oladapo said its quality and accurate reportage of traffic situations in the State had help in addressing gridlocks and navigating the transportation movement of citizens.
Also, a well wisher, Yomi Opakunle said the Radio Station had contributed immensely to the management of traffic situations in the metropolis in collaboration with road officers during the spate of ten year of its existence, wishing the Organisation more glorious years ahead.
Speaking at the Thanksgiving service, the General Manager, Lagos Traffic Radio 96.1FM, Tayo Akanle, commended the staff for their commitment, while the State Government had been very supportive to the course of the station, becoming a force to reckon with through the help of God.
