Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, have intercepted ten cartons of tramadol with an estimated street value of two hundred million naira in Lagos.
According to the Director, Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, the consignment was packaged as tramakin” containing five hundred thousand tablets with a total weight of four hundred and seven kilogram.
He said the illicit drugs were seized during a joint examination with the Nigerian Customs Service at the Service warehouse.
He added that the consignment had arrived Skyway Aviation Handling Company import shed since sixth June from India via Ethiopian Airline.
