Minister of Agriculture, Mohammed Abubakar, says food production has not significantly dropped in the country.
Abubakar said inspite of the festering security challenges in Nigeria which have prevented farmers from accessing their farms, production did not reduce notably.
The Minister said the Agriculture sector had been making appreciable strides as it has been contributing an aggregate of twenty-five percent to the Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product and looks towards an upscale of twenty-six to twenty-seven percent in 2022.
