OGUN STATE GOVERNMENT DECLARES WORK-FREE DAYS FOR COLLECTION OF PERMANENT VOTER CARDS.

Ogun State Government has declared twenty fourth, and twenty fifth, January as work-free days for workers in the state public service.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Kunle Somorin, made this known on Sunday in Abeokuta.

Somorin said that the work-free days were declared, following the extension of permanent voter cards’ collection till twenty ninth, January by Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC.

According to him, since voting is a civic responsibility, all eligible citizens must be allowed to exercise their rights to choose who governs them.
