Ahead of the Governorship and State Assembly election, Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu has urged Lagos residents with different ethnic groups, not to allow elections to create hatred or separation among them as it will affect the progress of the country, noting that election will go the same way it came.

The Governor said this in a live interview on Lagos Television, Radio Lagos, EKO FM, and Traffic Radio, where he also urged Lagosians to follow INEC’s electoral procedure and stay away from tribal discrimination.

Sanwo-olu also talked about his adoption as Governorship Candidate by some other political parties, saying the decision was a free will of choice, based on his performance, in the last four years.

While expressing gratitude to those political parties, Sanwo-olu said he was humbled about the development, while promising to continue to serve their mandate in his vision of making Lagos a Greater State.
