The State Government has begun the test run of the thirty kilometres per hour Lagos Blue Line Rail Service train.
Radio Lagos Eko FM management was among the participants in the test run of the Blue Light Rail which started from Marina train station to Mile two.
The test run was also witnessed by top Government functionaries, journalists, and heads of agencies under the Ministry of Transportation.
Leading the exercise, Managing Director of the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transportation Authority, Abimbola Akinajo said the test run would be carried out twice weekly over the next two months, and open to Lagosians from all walks of life.
The General Manager Radio Lagos/Eko FM, Olajide Lawal who commended the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, said that the Blue Train is the first of its kind in Lagos and Nigeria.
