President Bola Tinubu has met with aspirants for Speaker and the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives-Tajudeen Abbas and Benjamin Kalu at the State House, Abuja.
The private meeting occurred just after the President’s meeting with the nation’s service chiefs and heads of intelligence agencies.
In a brief chat with State House Correspondents, Abbas and Kalu expressed optimism that the tenth National Assembly will maintain a symbiotic relationship with the executive arm to optimise the function of checks and balances.
