President Bola Tinubu has promised to repay the trust and mandate of Nigerians with dividends of democracy.
Tinubu says the removal of fuel subsidy was to free up the massive resources of the nation in the pocket of a few rich, admitting it posed temporary pains on the masses.
According to him, the sacrifice will be repaid with provision of infrastructure, transportation, education and others to lift the standard of living.
He made this known in his maiden democracy speech to mark the annulment of the June twelve, 1993 presidential poll won by late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, asking Nigerians to sacrifice a little more for the survival of the country.
