STATE GOVERNMENT TASKS NEWLY INDUCTED PRINCIPALS TO BE PROACTIVE.

Lagos State Government, has tasked one hundred and eighty-eight newly inducted principals in the state’s public schools, to be more proactive in the management of their schools in a digital Era.

President , All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools, ANCOPS, Lagos State Chapter, Masheyi Abayomi, stated this at the Annual General meeting and induction of newly appointed principals in Lagos.

He said the induction ceremony was necessary to prepare the new principals for their roles in the state’s public service in line with the THEMES – Plus Agenda of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration.

In her address, Chairman , Lagos State Teaching Service Commission, Mopelola Perigino, commended Governor Sanwo-Olu, for raising the bar of education as well as improving infrastructure across schools in the State.

Earlier, the Tutor General and Permanent Secretary, Education District II, Anike Adekanye, who congratulated the new principals, urged them to support the present administration attain greater heights in the education sector.
