Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has charged the private sector to leverage on enterprise-driven innovations to create impactful ecosystems.
Governor Sanwo-Olu who gave the charge at the second edition of Africa Social Impact Summit 2023 said this would help to foster inclusive growth and recovery.
Sanwo-Olu who was represented by his deputy, Doctor Obafemi Hamzat explained that the summit sought to accelerate the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs.
He stressed that the theme: ‘Global Vision, Local Action: Repositioning the African Development Ecosystem for Sustainable Outcomes’ reflects on commitment to driving real change at the grassroots level.
The governor, called on the private sector, with its scale, sustainability, and innovation, to take the lead in driving change.
