The World Food Programme has said it would be forced to suspend food assistance to Internally Displaced People and refugees in Chad this December.
The Agency also said it would extend the suspension in January, to one point four people across the Country, including new arrivals from Sudan.
Deputy Spokesperson for the Secretary-General of the UN, Farhan Haq, explained that for continued support in Chad over the next six months, the Programme urgently needs one hundred and eighty-five million dollars.
