The Senate Committee on Finance has urged the Inspector General of Police to compel the Registrar General of Corporate Affairs Commission, Garba Lawal, to appear before it for 2024 Budget defence.
The Chairman of the Committee, Sani Musa, said this,when officials of the Commission appeared before the committee.
Musa said the Registrar General had refused to honour the Committee’s invitation for the third time.
According to him, the Registrar General is needed to provide some information on the discrepancies in the commission’s Budget.
