The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has assured Nigerians that the Commission is fully prepared to conduct the off-cycle elections in Kogi, Bayelsa and Imo States.
Chairman of the Commission, Professor Mahmood Yakubu gave the assurance on Saturday during his assessment tour of the conduct of INEC Mock Accreditation Exercise in Kogi State.
According to Mahmood, the mock exercise being simultaneously replicated in Bayelsa and Imo states has recorded impressive turnout of voters in both states.
The INEC Boss stressed that the Commission was taking proactive measures to ensure that voters have a pleasant voting experience on Election Day.
